The Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Center for Disease Control are strongly urging parents to have their children ages 6 months to 24 years vaccinated against the H1N1 flu. If you are considering having your children receive the vaccine at a Weston Board of Health Clinic, it is important that you reserve a time at one of the planned clinics.
Dr. Cheryl Maloney, Superintendent, provides information ( about the H1N1 virus and the November Town of Weston flu clinics: Superintendent’s letter of October 9, 2009)
You may want to investigate the information available about the vaccine and the different forms of delivery that may be available. Please visit the CDC website for the most up to date information.
