WHS to host Special Olympics

Help the Class of 2011 with the Special Olympics Event!!!

This annual event has become a centerpiece of the school's community service.  Hundreds of special athletes and their families will compete in multiple athletic events on Sunday, February 7.  The opening ceremony begins at 9am and the games begin at 9:30am.

Donations are needed for the Class of 2011 Special Olympics community service project.   To date we have received donations from  only 15 families.  We are well over $1000 short of the $1500 we need to sponsor this event.  We welcome all dontations, but if each family could contribute a minimum of $10, we will be able to purchase the supplies necessary for the event. 

We are expecting approximately 280 special athletes and their families in addition to about 100 volunteers.  Please help the Class of 2011 with this worthwhile event.  Checks may be made payable to:  Town of Weston (Class of 2011 may be made in the memorandum line) and sent to:  WHS SO Event, c/o Sharon Buenaventura, 29 Sherburn Circle, Weston  MA 02493.  Thank you for your support!
