Theater Co advances to semi-finals

This year Weston participants received eight different awards for many aspects of theater as well as the honor of moving on to the state semifinal round.

Katherine Donahue received an award for Excellence in Acting for the role of Alison, Reid Gilbard for the role of Jack, Molly Reid for the role of April and Claire Riedel for the role of Lily.
Nike Power received an award for Excellence in Musical Composition.

Erica Anastasi, Mikey Bullister, Margaret Crane, Katherine Donahue, Alessandra Haley, Ben Heath, Cailin McCormack, Colin Minigan, Nike Power and Sarah Smith all received an award for Excellence in Set Design.

Nick Haradhvala, Myles McMann and Colin Minigan received an award for Excellence in Lighting Design.

In addition, Katelyn Engler received The David Dooley Award for Best Exemplifying the Spirit of the Festival. Many of the other schools received awards as well.
