On Wednesday, May 30th, Dr. Cindy Crimmin, a candidate for principal, will visit Woodland School to meet with staff, faculty, students and parents. Dr. Crimmin, who holds a Masters of Education in Reading and a doctorate in Educational Administration, has taught in both private and public schools, is President of the Massachusetts Association for Curriculum and Development, and is an experienced elementary school principal. She served as Director of Foreign Language in Weston for grades one through twelve from 1995-2008; Director of Curriculum and Instruction in Bedford from 2008-2010 and has been the Principal of the Cunniff Elementary School in Watertown since 2010. The schedule for her visit is as follows:
8:00-8:30 Woodland School Staff-Office Conference Room
8:30-9:30 Parents-Library
9:45-10:30 Elementary specialists; Grade leaders-Office Conference room
10:30-11:15 Meet students and visit classrooms
11:30-12:30 Administrative Council-Case House
(Dr. Crimmin returns to Cunniff School)
3:00-4:00 Faculty- Woodland Library
There will be opportunities after each of the meetings to complete feedback sheets, which will be reviewed by Superintendent Cheryl Maloney.
