Students are invited to participate in the 2016 Congressional App Challenge! The Congressional App Challenge (CAC) was created to promote STEM by recognizing and celebrating the nation’s foremost young programming talent. WHS students are eligible to compete in this year’s CAC and are encouraged to participate in this exciting opportunity.
Students may compete as individuals or in teams of up to four, as long as two of the teammates are live in or attend school in the Massachusetts 5th district. Students entering the competition must submit all their materials by Noon on November 2nd 2016.
The apps will be judged by a panel of local judges who work within the academic, software and entrepreneurial fields. The app of the winning student or team in each participating congressional district will be featured on the U.S. House of Representatives’ website (www.house.gov), and displayed in a U.S. Capitol exhibit. Additionally, the winning students will be eligible for Amazon Web Services Credits.
Additional details and complete rules can be found at the App Challenge website, www.congressionalappchallenge.us.
