Current  Vacancy 2012 - 2013

 

POSITION:  Payroll Specialist

Coordinate all payroll functions with Human Resources, the Treasurer and Town Accountant.  Create and maintain all employee MUNIS records including master file maintenance, job/salary, step/lane increases and accruals.  Maintain all salary and accrual tables in MUNIS for school employees. Prepare school payroll weekly for Town.  Coordinate retirement system reporting and reconciliation using pension system software.  Complete employment verification for school employees.  Track substitute teacher activity.  Maintain paper files in accordance with Massachusetts General Law.  Must have three to five years payroll experience.  MUNIS knowledge a plus.  $39,185 - $48,355   (Full job description available upon request.)

LONG-TERM SUBSTITUES - to work all school days from date leave starts until leave ends.  Daily sub rate of $93.40 for the first 20 days in assignment; long-term sub rate of $213.95 from day 21 retroactive to the 1st day.
