The Importance of Reading Everyday
A reminder to recommit to provide time and space within your daily family schedule to allow for your child’s enjoyment of a good book or other written materials. Research has long substantiated the correlation between the investment of reading at home and increased student achievement at school.
If your child reads only 1 minute per day, it amounts to 180 minutes of time on text and totals 8,000 words read per year.
