Kudos to the Criers

The Town Criers competed on Friday, April 23, 2010, in the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA), sponsored by Varsity Vocals. The HS Finals were held at the New York Society for Ethical Culture in Manhattan.

The Criers were ranked the third overall group in the country, as well as the top group in New England, the top all-male group in the country, and the top student-lead group in the country. Also, the Criers were awarded with Outstanding Solo (Nolan Neu for "All the Above") and Outstanding Choreography for the entire set. Click here to see a video. As one of the top three groups, the Criers opened for the Collegiate Finals the following evening at Lincoln Center's Allice Tulley Hall. Click here for more event information.

Also, on April 20, 2010, the Criers were nominated for two A Cappella Community Awards (ACAs) for favorite high school album ("Stimulus Package") and favorite high school group. The top five nominees were announced for each category on Casa.org.
