Donate semi-formal and prom dresses and shoes through May 31.  Make the dream of going 
to high school proms and dances a reality for girls who cannot afford to buy clothes for these special events. Any sizes or styles would be appreciated

Come together against Underage Drinking  Tougher laws and greater awareness have reduced teen fatalities due to intoxication and Weston has made progress controlling underage alcohol consumption. This is an important issue, especially during Prom and

Graduation season.  Call parents who are hosting underage drinking to express your concern and displeasure; and clearly communicate to students that attendance at these parties is not permitted. Teens who have regular and open communications about important issues with their parents are more likely to try to live up to their parents’ expectations and less likely to drink, use drugs, or engage in early sexual behavior.

Donate concert attire that your child will no longer need, to the next Weston Friends of Music clothing sale....ie black pants, suits, tuxedos, skirts, and dresses; white button-down shirts and blouses; pep band fleeces.  The WFOM sale of gently worn concert attire will occur in the Fall, to support the Weston music program.  Collection box in the WHS band room, or arrange for clothing pick-up.   Thank you all!
Students learn about sexting  Each of the grades in their respective class meetings on Wednesday, April 30, learned about the Read Principal Parker's letterissue of sexting, best described as depicting and sending photos of a sexual nature over the internet or via cell phones.  See Principal Parker's letter to parents about the issue at WHS and resources to talk about it with your child.  Posted 5/6/13

Volunteer for the Graduation Reception  Friday, June 7, 2013  Town Hall
Each year the sophomore class hosts the reception immediately after graduation.  This is a perfect event to introduce the community to the class of 2015 and continue a fine tradition for when our kids graduate. Generally 1000+ people attend the reception so we need many volunteers.

Senior Wildcate Night Senior athletes will be honored for their efforts and accomplishments throughout their time at WHS. Invitations will be sent to seniors who participated in a 
sport during their senior year. There is no cost for senior athletes, but there is a charge for each additional guest for dinner. All senior athletes and their parents are encouraged to attend. 6:30pm  Auditorium
Fri, 5/24 Deadline to exclude student info from PTO 2013-14 Directory Deadline to submit an Exclusion form and Second Address form. These forms are also available in the main office.  If you do nothing, your listing will be included in the Directory in the standard default format
