Argentinean exchange students, Camila (above), Agus, and Matías (below) arrived to Boston safely on Saturday January 21, 2017, and were greeted with excitement by their host siblings, Glennie LeBarron, Sophie Fennell, and Mack Rodgers. The students will be here in Weston for three weeks taking courses at the high school and participating in extra-curricular activities as part of our Argentina Exchange Program with the Northlands School in Buenos Aires, Argentina.


 Here are a few pictures of the exchange students on a field trip in Harvard Square  Matías Macek, Camila Borinsky, and Agustina Attas. Sophie Fennell, one of the host siblings, is in both pictures with the exchange students.


August 2016

Juniors Sophie Fennell and Glennie LeBaron arrive in Buenos Aires for a 3 week exchange program with the Northlands School, and were greeted by their host families. Everyone looks very happy!


The Argentinean exchange students arrived to Boston on Sunday, 1/10/16, and were welcomed by their host families at the airport. They will be spending three weeks here in Weston as part of the exchange program between WHS and Northlands School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The students are looking forward to becoming a part of the Weston community and will begin their coursework and shadowing their host siblings.

Host an exchange student


Each student's experience is enhanced by living with various host families from the Weston community.  The benefits of hosting an exchange student are innumberable.   Exact dates are flexible and short term "substitute" host families are also needed.

US Department of State designated Exchange Visitor Program(EVP) 

for J-1 Visa Secondary School Students


Weston Public Schools are committed to supporting a robust international student exchange program in our community.  


Since the 1950s, Weston has welcomed students from France and Brazil to attend classes full time and learn what it is like to be an American Teenager.


Weston High School is one of only ten high schools nationally desginated by the  U.S. Department of State to participate in the Exchange Visitor Program for Secondary School Students.
