Andrew Rizza, MS, ATC, LAT
Athletic Training office hours are Monday through Friday 1pm - 7pm and Saturdays by appointment.
Andrew is a 1996 Graduate of Northeastern University where he recieved both his Bachelors of Science Degree in Athletic Training and Masters of Science in Leadership and Health Managment. He is a Dually Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer who holds certifications with the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professionals. He also serves as an approved clinical instructor for Lasell College’s Athletic Training curriculum.
While attending Northeastern Andrew held internships at Babson College, Curry College and Harvard University. He also served as a Student Athletic Trainer with the Boston Blazers professional indoor lacrosse team from 1994-1996. Upon Graduation he was hired as a Staff Athletic Trainer by Sports and Physical Therapy Associates and as the Head Athletic Trainer for Emmanuel College and Boston Latin School where he worked from 1996-1998. In 1998 he made the transition from the collegiate level to the high school level becoming the Head Athletic Trainer for Weston High School. Some of his other accolades include Head Athletic Trainer for the Division 3 North Sectional and State Wrestling Championships from 1998 – 2005, Athletic Trainer for the New England Prep-School Wrestling Championships in 2003, Athletic Trainer for the Boston Marathon, Chase Corporate Challenge, State Farm Figure Skating Championship and the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Andrew specializes in Orthopedics, Athletic Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, Concussion Management, Sports specific programming and Orthotic device fitting.
