WHS Student Council  October 2016

Last year Erin McCarty and her amazing group of officers were able to raise over $10,000 for Camp No Limits by hosting Spring Fling. Many groups here at the HS sponsored booths helping to make this day a huge success.

Below is a video showing the impact of your hard work and generosity.

Wellness Day was held at Weston High School on Friday, 10/2/15.  The event was an initiative proposed by WHS Student Council and the event was organized and run by senior, Charlie Moore. The goal of Wellness Day was to alleviate student stress, create opportunities for class bonding and team building, and to cultivate a positive school environment for students, faculty and staff.  Some of the activities for Wellness Day include: yoga, meditation, movies, arts and crafts activities, sports games and board games.  Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable day had by students, faculty and staff.

The High School Student Council consists of five representatives from each class in addition to four officers. These students plan school-wide activities such as Kids Night Out. The Student Council also has two Greater Boston Regional Student Advisory Council (GBRSAC) representatives who represent Weston High School at the state level.
