The School Committee and Administration are pleased to announce the formation of the Start Time/Scheduling Innovation Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee, co-chaired by School Committee members John Henry and Ed Heller, will include members of the school administration (Superintendent Bob Tremblay, Assistant Superintendents Pamela Bator and Cynthia Mahr, Director of Student Services Midge Connolly); Principals Jen Faber (Woodland School), Anthony Parker (High School), and John Gibbons (Middle School), Faculty members Kate Brewer (Field School Grade 4 Teacher), David Poras (Middle School Math Teacher), and Kerry Dunne (High School History Teacher and Department Head); and Parents Denise Joutras, Kathleen Mortimer, Vicky Rakov, Julie Townsend, and Mark Wurbel.
We are most appreciative of all who volunteered to serve on the steering committee. There will be many opportunities for involvement as the committee addresses how to respond to the health and wellness of students, while at the same time exploring ways to accommodate how and when students learn best.
